This season 2009/2010, we’re taking you deeper into winter than we ever have before! We have Skiing, Cross-country skiing, Snowboarding, Dog Sledding, Snowshoeing, Backcountry trips, Biking, Hiking, Fishing, Festivals, and Events planned – all surely to keep you busy this winter!
Hey everyone, we had a great time visiting Fairbanks, Alaska this winter! We tried to make the most of the short time and hope you enjoy this show about getting out and enjoying the colder season of the year in Fairbanks.
Scott has been roaming all around the Anchorage area for the last few weeks searching for snow and beautiful scenery to share with you. From sunrise to sunset, there’s a great cross section of what Anchorage looks like in late November.
Just a fun update from Alaska. April Showers? Global Cooling? Where’s Al Gore? Winter in Anchorage, Alaska is not yet over – April 25th, 2008 we recieved 17 inches!

We visit one of Alaska’s most viewed glaciers located just 50 minutes outside of Anchorage, Alaska. A popular summertime destination, but winter offers an amazing experience!
We get out for a local hike just above Eagle River, Alaska at Mt. Baldy. This local mountain is a favorite for day hikes throughout the summer, but we thought we’d give it a try while there was still a little snow on the ground.
