We recently spoke with CBS news reporter Reagan Scott here in Anchorage, Alaska about our podcast and HD video production impact on the upcoming 2009 Alaska travel season.

The local consensus is that the Alaska travel industry is going to be met with doom and gloom as the bookings for cruises and traditional tours are down as much as 40% from last year. Not that we are travel experts per se, but we believe that independent travelers are still going to come to Alaska in the foreseeable future and that’s exactly who we cater to with our Alaska HDTV podcast.

Our goal with Alaska HDTV has always been to evangelize Alaska and share local businesses from around the state with our global audience. We hope you (our viewers) enjoy the shows and look forward to another great year of Alaska travel adventures in 2009!
