Bears of Anan Observatory

Scott continues his travels from Wrangell, Alaska for part two of multi-part adventure series with our friends Jim & Wilma Leslie at Alaska Waters. Scott and Jim take you to the Anan Bear Observatory for an up-close experience with both Alaska black and brown bears.

In this episode, Scott travels with Alaska Waters thirty five miles through the Eastern Passage from Wrangell to AnAn. AnAn is one of Alaska’s hidden gems, which offers unparalleled bear viewing opportunities extremely unique from any other part of Alaska. Witness one of the few places where brown and black bears thrive together and harvest salmon from AnAn Creek, which offers the largest run of Alaska pink salmon in all of Southeast Alaska.
